I have 2 assignments to do by next wednesday. they total 60% of the class.

i just thought that you would like to know that.

Rock Climbing was AWESOME! even the heights bit. (although i have to admit that i was looking forward to getting a shower and a shave after 8 days of camping!!!)

um.... yes - house is practiaclly empty here - i think i'll go out tonight and play some music at paddy's and get a proper meal.... yes, thats a good idea.

and now that i have had my little break.. i'm going to get stuck back into that school work.

does anyone know anything about interrelations in the australian environment???? no? Don't matter.

one day i'll have some time and wack up a proper rant that will bore you to tears - but untill then.... go have a look at that pitate name site.

Heyhey!

tomorrow i'm off to canberra for the National Folk Festival (thursday till monday)
its gunnna be AWESOME!!!!! WOOOOOoooo!!!!!

lots of good music,
good people,
good food,
good times!!

O i'm really excited!!!

AND i get to see Fi and my family (of whom i havnt see either since febuary)

when i get back i'll have one day back here then i'm off for 8 days to somewhere in vic called the grampians for a rockclimbing trip.

we'll see how that one goes methinks.

uni finished for break WOW that went fast!!!!!!!
its been good so far, except for Bio - but i think i'll just have to work a bit harder and pass. *gulp*

i've been really glad of having Megan here to talk to - i think i may have gone nuts and left if i dint have some of the talks with her. (when i remind myself that she wont be here for ever - i dont know WHAT i'm going to do)

she's introdeced me to one of her frends - she seems nice, Meg it trying to hook us up...lol we'll see how that goes as well i think.

havnt had a great deal of time to think - had a good experense here yesterday talking wiht Tim about religion - he said that: people like you scare me, how can you believe in evolition and STILL be spritual??

it was an interesting point - i dont know.... well, not a clear one - i'll have to think about it a bit. (maybe on the 4 hour car trip tomorrow)

My Rec 2 assignment went really really well - i did a workshop on vocal gymnastics and the layers of music. everyone had fun and learnt something - so thats the main thing i think.

well, i think i've cleared my head a bit now, thankyou for that. i have to pack for tomorrow now, and i want to go talk wiht meg before she heads off to Cobar for 2 weeks.

till next time - Sven.

Sydney

Yesterday I was flown to the state capital (Sydney) for a forum on racism and community harmony.... It was really really cool (and it was the first time I have been in a plain - and I wont deny that I was a little worried at times!!)

the forum went really well - all the people who were there were the awardees of 2006 young citizens of the year for shire council's about 70 of us all up.... So that in its self was cool.

the minister of youth for NSW is giving us each $2000 to set up a program/do an activity to encourage tolerance and understanding of other cultures...... AND I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO!! If I could do it here it would be a lot easer - but as it is I have to do it for back home... and doing a program where I have to travel 8 hours ISN'T easy! (as you could well understand)

ahh well, i had fun - and breakfast in a 5 star hotel.

hope that your well... and any ideas that i could use for a program would be good.

Hello All

Hello, I have set this up mainly so I can ramble on about things here - and on the odd occasion my family could drop in and see what I have been up to here at uni.

i found this place through a friend - she will think that I am copying here - one: getting the blog in the first place - and two: that I have the same template!! (well, there ARE only 12 to choose from, and this was the only green one!)

well, me:
My name is Sven Helland and I'm going to uni in Albury at Charles Sturt Uni (CSU) I'm a first year undergrad and I'm studying a Bat. of Applied Science in Adventure Ecotourism.
(for those of you who that means less then nothing - I'm getting a degree that allows me to take people bushwalking, canoeing and abseling) cool huh??

thats all for now - I'll get back here and say what ive been up to soon - but i have to go to a class and tomorrow i'm being flown to Sydney to go to a forum dicussing comunity harmoney. (it willl be fun!) so - till next time, Sven.
